At House of Skinology and Aesthetics, your journey is guided by clinical expertise, safety, and a personalised experience from start to finish. Here’s what to expect when you choose us for your anti-wrinkle treatment:

First Procedure

Phase One: Your Face to Face Consultation

Your journey begins with a face-to-face consultation with our independent medical prescriber, where your full medical history will be reviewed to ensure you’re suitable for treatment. This is a legal requirement for all prescription-only treatments and an important opportunity to:
• Discuss your goals and concerns
• Have your face assessed clinically and aesthetically
• Speak directly with your aesthetic nurse injector to plan your treatment approach

A £25 consultation fee is payable at this appointment and goes directly to the prescriber — however, this is redeemable against your treatment should you choose to go ahead.
Please note: Once prescribed, your treatment plan remains valid for up to six months, provided there are no medical changes.

Second Procedure

Phase Two: Your Treatment Appointment

When you’re ready to proceed, your treatment appointment will be booked and a deposit will secure your slot. Prior to your visit, you’ll receive your consent form and full aftercare guidance by email, giving you time to review everything in advance.

At your appointment, we ensure you feel fully informed, comfortable, and confident before proceeding. Your NMC-registered aesthetic nurse will administer the treatment with precision and care, using premium, UK-regulated products to ensure safe and effective results.

What to Expect Post-Treatment:
• You may begin to notice subtle changes from Day 3–5, with results gradually improving over the following days
• Full results typically develop by Day 14, as the botulinum toxin gently relaxes targeted muscles
• Expression lines begin to soften, skin appears smoother, and movement in treated areas is carefully reduced without looking “frozen”
• The result: A refreshed, refined look that enhances your natural feature

Third Procedure

Phase Three: Your Two-Week Review

Around 14 days after your treatment, you’ll return for your review appointment. This is where we assess your results to ensure they’re balanced, symmetrical, and in line with your goals. If any top-up treatment or refinements are needed, they’ll be carried out at this visit, as appropriate and within your prescribed dose.

This final step ensures you achieve the very best outcome from your treatment, and allows you to ask any final questions or discuss future maintenance.

• A £30 deposit is required to secure your treatment booking — this is redeemable against your treatment cost

Second Procedure

Phase Two: Your Treatment Appointment

•Numbing cream may be applied to maximise comfort
•Premium, CE-marked dermal fillers are used to restore volume, soften static lines, or enhance contour — all tailored to your facial anatomy and goals
 
We take a ‘less is more’ approach, always prioritising natural-looking results that complement your features and maintain facial harmony.
 
What to Expect After Treatment:
•Results are visible immediately, with improved definition and volume
•Mild swelling or bruising is normal and typically settles within a few days
•Final results settle in over 2–4 weeks, once the filler fully integrates into your skin

At your appointment:

Second Procedure

Phase Two: Your Treatment Appointment

The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is a quick, well-tolerated in-clinic treatment:
•Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepped
•The peel is applied and left on for a few minutes — you may feel a mild tingling or warmth, which is normal and temporary
•The solution is then neutralised, and a soothing post-peel product is applied
•You’ll leave with an immediate glow and minimal signs of treatment
 
Post-Treatment Effects:
•Mild redness may occur directly after treatment (typically resolves within hours)
•Light flaking or dryness may appear between Day 2–5, depending on your skin’s response
