Timeline
Your Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Journey
A Three-Phase Timeline of Care
At House of Skinology and Aesthetics, your journey is guided by clinical expertise, safety, and a personalised experience from start to finish. Here’s what to expect when you choose us for your anti-wrinkle treatment:
Phase One: Your Face to Face Consultation
Your journey begins with a face-to-face consultation with our independent medical prescriber, where your full medical history will be reviewed to ensure you’re suitable for treatment. This is a legal requirement for all prescription-only treatments and an important opportunity to:
• Discuss your goals and concerns
• Have your face assessed clinically and aesthetically
• Speak directly with your aesthetic nurse injector to plan your treatment approach
A £25 consultation fee is payable at this appointment and goes directly to the prescriber — however, this is redeemable against your treatment should you choose to go ahead.
Please note: Once prescribed, your treatment plan remains valid for up to six months, provided there are no medical changes.
Phase Two: Your Treatment Appointment
When you’re ready to proceed, your treatment appointment will be booked and a deposit will secure your slot. Prior to your visit, you’ll receive your consent form and full aftercare guidance by email, giving you time to review everything in advance.
At your appointment, we ensure you feel fully informed, comfortable, and confident before proceeding. Your NMC-registered aesthetic nurse will administer the treatment with precision and care, using premium, UK-regulated products to ensure safe and effective results.
What to Expect Post-Treatment:
• You may begin to notice subtle changes from Day 3–5, with results gradually improving over the following days
• Full results typically develop by Day 14, as the botulinum toxin gently relaxes targeted muscles
• Expression lines begin to soften, skin appears smoother, and movement in treated areas is carefully reduced without looking “frozen”
• The result: A refreshed, refined look that enhances your natural feature
Phase Three: Your Two-Week Review
Around 14 days after your treatment, you’ll return for your review appointment. This is where we assess your results to ensure they’re balanced, symmetrical, and in line with your goals. If any top-up treatment or refinements are needed, they’ll be carried out at this visit, as appropriate and within your prescribed dose.
This final step ensures you achieve the very best outcome from your treatment, and allows you to ask any final questions or discuss future maintenance.
Ongoing Support
Your aesthetic nurse is always accessible via telephone or WhatsApp should you have any questions or concerns at any point during your journey. We are committed to providing clinical care that is responsive, reassuring, and always patient-focused.

Timeline
Your Obagi Blue Peel Radiance® Journey
A Three-Phase Timeline of Care
The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance® is a light, professionally applied chemical peel designed to gently exfoliate, brighten, and smooth the skin — with minimal downtime and immediate glow-boosting benefits. At House of Skinology and Aesthetics, every peel is performed by a qualified aesthetic nurse in a safe, clinical setting.
Phase One: Consultation and Booking
Your journey begins with a complimentary consultation, where your aesthetic nurse will assess your skin health, concerns, and suitability for treatment.
• A £30 deposit secures your booking and is redeemable against your treatment cost
• You’ll receive pre-treatment advice and aftercare instructions in advance
• Depending on your skin type and goals, we may recommend supporting skincare (especially for pigmentation or sensitive skin) to maximise the peel’s benefits
Phase Two: Your Treatment Appointment
Phase Three: Follow-Up & Ongoing Skin Planning
You’ll have the option of a review within 7–10 days to assess your skin’s response and plan your next steps.
For best results, a course of 3–6 peels spaced 2–4 weeks apart is often recommended. Your aesthetic nurse will tailor this based on your individual skin needs and goals.
✨ Combine with Skin Boosters for Elevated Results
For clients looking for more comprehensive skin rejuvenation, the Obagi Blue Peel Radiance can be safely combined with injectable skin boosters, such as:
• Profhilo® – to deeply hydrate and stimulate collagen and elastin
• Sunekos® – to target fine lines and skin laxity with amino acids and hyaluronic acid
• Polynucleotides – to repair and regenerate skin at a cellular level
Your peel preps the skin by removing dull, dead cells and enhancing absorption, making it an ideal foundation for injectable treatments performed 1–2 weeks later. Combining these therapies allows us to target both surface texture and deeper structural quality, delivering a naturally radiant, youthful result.
Timeline
Your Sunekos® Treatment Journey
A Three-Phase Timeline of Care
Sunekos® is an advanced injectable skin booster that combines hyaluronic acid and amino acids to stimulate collagen and elastin production — restoring hydration, firmness, and elasticity to tired, ageing, or crepey skin. At House of Skinology and Aesthetics, we take a medically led, natural approach to skin rejuvenation with results that build beautifully over time
Phase One: Consultation and Booking
Your journey begins with a free consultation with your aesthetic nurse injector, where we assess your skin’s condition and determine if Sunekos is right for your concerns.
• A £30 deposit secures your appointment and is fully redeemable against the treatment cost
• We’ll create a personalised plan based on your skin’s needs — Sunekos is ideal for the face, under eyes, or neck.
• You’ll receive your consent form and aftercare advice ahead of your visit to ensure you feel informed and confident
Phase Two: Your Sunekos® Treatment Appointment
Sunekos is injected as a series of small, precise micro-injections just beneath the skin, targeting areas of laxity, dullness, and fine lines.
At your appointment:
• Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed
• Numbing cream can be applied to enhance comfort if needed
• The treatment typically takes 30–45 minutes, and most clients report only mild discomfort
What to Expect After Treatment:
• You may experience mild swelling or small visible bumps at the injection sites for up to 24 hours
• Some clients may have minimal bruising, which resolves quickly
• There is no significant downtime — you can return to most normal activities the same day
• Over the next 7–10 days, your skin begins to feel more hydrated, plump, and firm, with optimal results developing after the full treatment course
Phase Three: Review & Treatment Plan Completion
Sunekos works best as a course of 3–4 treatments, spaced 7–10 days apart. Each session builds upon the last, encouraging deeper collagen and elastin regeneration for long-term results.
You’ll be offered a review after your final session to assess the outcome and discuss:
• Maintenance options (usually a top-up every 6 months)
• Complementary treatments to support long-term skin quality
• Ongoing skin health routines tailored to your lifestyle
Ongoing Support
Your aesthetic nurse remains available via WhatsApp or phone for any post-treatment questions or reassurance throughout the process.
⸻
✨ Combine with Other Skin Rejuvenation Treatments
Sunekos works exceptionally well when paired with other skin-boosting treatments as part of a comprehensive, layered plan. For enhanced results, we often recommend:
• Obagi Blue Peel Radiance® – a light peel to exfoliate and brighten the skin before Sunekos treatment begins
• Polynucleotides or Profhilo® – may be introduced later as part of a targeted, long-term skin quality protocol
By combining skin boosters with medical-grade topical or exfoliating treatments, we can address both surface texture and deeper cellular function, for results that are radiant, smooth, and visibly healthier.
Timeline
Your Polynucleotide Skin Regeneration Journey
A Three-Phase Timeline of Care
Polynucleotides are the next generation in regenerative aesthetics. Sourced from purified salmon or trout DNA, they work by stimulating cell repair, tissue regeneration, and deep hydration from within. At House of Skinology and Aesthetics, we offer this advanced treatment using the Plunder technique, a refined injection method that ensures optimal placement and patient comfort.
Polynucleotides don’t just hydrate — they actively restore skin health at a cellular level, improving tone, texture, elasticity, and even pigmentation over time.
Phase One: Consultation and Booking
Phase Two: Your Polynucleotide Treatment Appointment
Phase Three: Follow-Up & Long-Term Results
Polynucleotide therapy is usually performed as a course of 3–4 sessions, spaced 2–3 weeks apart for optimal collagen stimulation and tissue repair.
You’ll be invited back for a review after your course, where we evaluate:
• Your skin’s progress and regenerative response
• Whether maintenance treatments (typically every 6 months) are needed
• Options to combine with complementary treatments for enhanced outcomes
